Hello.
My name is Elle. Well, one of my names is Elle.
When I entered the kink community at 18, there was a recommendation to not use my legal name. I didn’t follow that recommendation until about two years into my journey, when a stranger had managed to track me down at my job from only my first name. Please call me Elle. This is also why I take efforts to not post my face.
I am many things. I am a grad student in political science, working through my thesis. I am deeply involved in kink, both from a community standpoint, and in my personal life. I am deeply fascinated by power. I love solving puzzles. There is much more that about me that I tend to reveal in my writing, whether I am aware of it or not.
I started writing about my journey in kink on FetLife about 5 years ago. Topics ranged from scene write-ups, kink education, love, masochism, age-gaps, desire, and self-reflection. I was also a very insecure 19 year old when I started to share my thoughts. But I kept sharing. And people kept reading. And I found community in that.
And now, I’ve gotten a few requests to share what I write in a more public way. Fetlife doesn’t allow for folks to view content unless they have an account. It’s hard to share, let alone format, writings on that site. The first bulk of posts that will follow this are going to be re-uploads of writings I’ve already posted on Fetlife. I write honestly and openly about taboo topics—consider this a broad content warning. I am also a huge politics nerd, and decently online, so expect to see pieces of that nature, too.
I am so looking forward to sharing me, with you.
